Sharif J.B. Wilson - Times (ft. Personal)

Electronic crooner/producer Personal raised a high degree of anticipation for his debut project Sydney In Theory last year, but it looks like the project will be strategically delayed until a better time. To hold us over, here’s a recent feature he did with rapper/producer/singer Sharif J.B. Wilson (fun fact: Sharif produced Big Boi’s track “Be Still” with Janelle Monae off the Sir Lucious Left Foot LP). This track is a straight up trip, going from moody pianos to tribal sounds to near psychedelic ambiance. Add in Sharif’s introspective raps and Personal’s auto-tuned accessory vocals and you got something really distinct.
